SantaCrawl at the MarshWalk

Get dressed up in any holiday-inspired costume to join in the SantaCrawl along the MarshWalk. Register when you arrive to officially enter the running for being the best Santa, elf, or Scrooge around. Stroll the boardwalk to enjoy food and drink specials at all of the area’s restaurants. Costume winners are announced at 9:30 p.m.
Family Night & Holiday Trolley at the Kaminski House
When: Dec. 16, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 1003 Front St., Georgetown, SC 29440 | 16 miles from Litchfield Resort
This festive event near Litchfield Beach features a Holiday Trolley tour of Georgetown to see the decorations adorning Front Street businesses and historic homes. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served, and a scavenger hunt in the Kaminski House with a viewing of the rooms follows. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members ($10 for those with children); kids under 12 are free.

Nights of a Thousand Candles
When: Thursdays – Sundays Nov. 25 to Dec. 31, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. (closed December 18 to 26)

Get tickets to Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens to explore the decorated grounds during an evening of fun. See 2,700 hand-lit candles and loads of twinkling lights illuminating the garden paths, water features, and sculptures. A tree-lighting ceremony is held nightly at 6:45 p.m. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Strolling bagpipers and two stages featuring live musicians provide extra entertainment.
MarshWalk Wonderland of Lights
When: Nov. 25 to Dec. 31, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Walk the boardwalk to admire the lights and visit the giant holiday tree at Veterans Pier. The MarshWalk’s Wonderland of Lights is free to explore and offers several photo op spots throughout plus loads of twinkling displays. The event features were updated in 2022 to make them bigger and brighter. Light Up the Lawn at the Kaminski House Museum
When: Dec. 2, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Raise a glass of bubbly to toast the holiday season during this festive celebration, which follows the kids’ activities and Kaminski market. The Light Up the Lawn light show begins with a performance by the Saltwater Chamber Orchestra at 5 p.m. The evening concludes with an instrumental countdown to illuminating the lawn with festive twinkling lights.
Candlelight Tours at the Kaminski House Museum
When: Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Explore the Kaminski House by warm candlelight. The Candlelight Tour includes a walk through the Kathryn and David Kossove Terrace, which is set aglow with many candles lit in memory of loved ones. Nightly entertainment and refreshments will be provided. The tickets cost $12 for members and $15 for non-members.
